This Refund Policy explains when and how much of Your admission or semester fee is refundable if You cancel or withdraw Your admission at Gopal Narayan Singh University ("the University", "We", "Us", "Our"), in line with the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC). By paying Your fees to the University, You agree to the terms set out below.

Applicability

This policy applies to all students who have paid admission or semester fees to the University, whether through the offline admission process or the online admission/entrance portal, and covers cancellations, withdrawals, and migrations of admission.

Refund Schedule

Once Fee paid will not be refunded. However, if there is any excess payment for any reason whatsoever, the student may file his/her claim with the Principal/Accountant, GNSU, Bihar, India.

Special Academic-Session Notifications

For any academic session where the UGC issues a specific relaxed refund window (for example, a full refund up to a specified date with only a nominal processing fee), the University will follow that notification for the relevant session in place of the standard schedule above, and will publish the applicable dates separately on this page.

Withdrawal Due to Ineligibility or Disciplinary Action

If admission is cancelled by the University because a candidate does not meet eligibility criteria, or due to disciplinary action, ragging, or submission of false information, the refund (if any) will be limited to what is required under applicable UGC/regulatory norms, and the University reserves the right to deduct any dues owed.

Grievance Redressal

If You believe a refund has been delayed or denied incorrectly, You may raise a grievance with the University's Grievance Redressal Cell, in line with the UGC (Redressal of Grievances of Students) Regulations, 2023.
